Land to hand in the world of bountiful land to field options feels a little off so Im not a fan of Sylvan Ranger

That said, Staff of Compleation has a real price associated with its modes

You can also use ability doublers like Illusionists Bracers to increase your mileage and turn Karlov into a serious removal machine

Its not exceptional anywhere outside the occasional Constructed red Prison decks, but the overall design is top-notch: red ramp, impulse draw, and removal

Flash in Sigardas Vanguard to wipe out a few opposing creatures, and then have it be around again to do the same for your own battles

Protect your combos with Pact of Negation
